Overview
duapune.com is a leading job matching platform serving employers and jobseekers in Albania, the Balkans, and emerging markets — with a community of over 300,000 users growing daily. DataMax built an automated, privacy-preserving, and scalable CV parsing solution to streamline profile creation for jobseekers and enable personalised job and candidate recommendations for both sides of the marketplace.
Challenge
duapune wanted to eliminate the manual effort of jobseekers building online profiles from scratch by automatically populating them from existing CVs using Generative AI. They also needed personalised recommendations — matching jobseekers to relevant opportunities and surfacing the best-qualified candidates to employers.
Approach
We designed a privacy-first pipeline that separates PII from non-PII data at every stage, processes each through the appropriate model, and generates compatibility scores between jobseekers and job postings.
Solution
CVs are converted to a standard format and passed through a fine-tuned Donut model to extract PII data separately. Non-PII data is sent to the OpenAI API to produce structured JSON. A sentence-transformer model converts relevant data into embeddings, and cosine similarity scores calculate compatibility between jobseeker profiles and job postings. Results are cached to avoid redundant recalculation. The entire solution is hosted on AWS using S3, Lambda, and DynamoDB for storage and processing.
